Her full name is Kellie May Chauvin. Kellie Chauvin was born in 1974 in the month of October. She was born in Laos. Her former known name was Kellie May Thao and Kellie May Xiong. She was suffering from the Laotian civil war from 1959 to 1975 which is why she goes to Thailand as a child refugee with her family. After some time whole family traveled to Eau Claire a place in Wisconsin after the civil war in the year 1980. At 10 she starts going to kindergarten. Later she graduated in Radiology and for Residential Real Estate Course she goes to Kaplan University. She kept his siblings very secret from the world.
When Kellie Chauvin started school, she was bullied by the other students. But she kept herself strong at that time.

Kellie Chauvin was just seventeen when she get married first to Kujay Xiong. He was also from her Hmong community. He was very abusive towards Kellie. She divorced him and went to Minnesota. Then in 2010 on the 12th June she marry Derek Chauvin in Washington. She has 2 children from her first marriage.

Derek charged with the murder of George Floyd . She filed divorced after that. Derek charged with second degree murder, third degree murder and manslaughter. On 20th of April 2021 he found guilty by 12 member jury. Kellie Chauvin request court to change her name and take full authority and titles to the properties in Windermere in Florida, and joint properties in Oakdale in Minnesota, bank account, and vehicles.
Derek goes through a three weeks testimony. In that testimony court hear almost 45 witnesses. Which includes police officials, bystanders, and medical experts. After the verdict Derek was handcuffed and take him to jail. On 25th of June he get 22 and half years in prison.

Kellie Chauvin started work as intern in Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis. She work there as radiology technician. Later she became permanent employee there. She work there for almost thirteen years. Then she resign form medical center and start working as real estate agent with RE/MAX Results.

One of her friend suggest him to compete in USOA’s Mrs. Minnesota. Kellie Chauvin competed for the title of Mrs. Minnesota 2019, becoming the first Hmong woman to win that honor. She ha entered the pageant at the urging of a friend. Kellie explained that she wanted to represent the Hmong community, as she had been bullied as a child for her heritage, appearance, and refugee status.
