Harshad Chopda is an award-winning actor who recently won Best Actor -(Popular) at the Indian Television Academy Awards for his role Dr. Abhimanyu Birla in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.
This winning journey started since 2006 by playing Karan Srivastav with Zee TV’s in Mamta, the young man wasn’t worried about success or opportunity because he was aware of his hidden potential, but he was striving to be a better actor.
In 2007, he takes the official first step in staircase of his career by portrayed Cadet Ali Baig in SAB TV’s Left Right Left, and later he joined Sony TV’s Amber Dhara as Akshat Mehra.
But 2008 was the year of challenge for Harshad the year when he takes on different role and become a different person, Prem Juneja in Star Plus’s Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil, was the role who open the gate of nomination for him as best actor for the first time, and this big impact will carve in front of him a long way of nomination and will crowning by winning his first award in 2010 as Best Actor In Leading Role Male (Popular) in Indian Telly Awards for his exceptional role in Star Plus’s Tere Liye as Anurag Ganguly.
With years of training his ultimate aim was to create an actor who can be responsible for his artistic developments and achievements, then from 2011 to 2012, he played Mohan Gala in NDTV Imagine’s Dharampatni, and additionally in 2012 he portrayed Raghavendra Pratap Singh in Life OK’s Dil Se Di Dua… Saubhagyavati Bhava.
As an actor Harshad was known for choosing roles carefully, always he needs an element that generates in him a passion for playing that role But this feature did not negatively affect his career, on the contrary, it was a strong point that made his roles outstanding and memorable, and he stated in one of his interviews in 2021 ” where ever I am is because of the Nos I have said and not because of the yeses”.

This experience was opportunity for him to gain new knowledge about his passion and Determine his future goals, and in 2018 he came back to home back to television with Colors TV’s Bepannah, portraying Aditya Hooda the character who made a huge success and touch the nerves of his audience
